German cockroaches are highly resilient and multiply rapidly. To achieve complete eradication, our advanced treatment requires precise access to their hiding and feeding zones. Your preparation is the most critical step in completely eliminating the colony.
Please ensure all the following steps are fully completed before your technician arrives for your scheduled service.
Empty All Cabinets and Drawers: Remove all food items, dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and food storage containers from your upper and lower kitchen cabinets and drawers.
Protect Your Items: Place all removed items on a dining table or in the center of a living room, and cover them completely with a clean sheet or plastic wrap to protect them.
Clear the Countertops: Remove all appliances (toasters, blenders, air fryers, microwaves) and decorative items from the counters.
Clean and De-Grease: Thoroughly wipe down inside all emptied cabinets and drawers. Clean your countertops, stovetop, and the sides of appliances to remove any grease, crumbs, or food residue, as these act as competing food sources against our specialized baits.
Pull Out Major Appliances: If safely possible, pull your refrigerator and stove away from the wall. Thoroughly vacuum and mop behind and underneath them to remove hidden debris.
Empty Vanities and Medicine Cabinets: Remove all toiletries, medications, cosmetics, and towels from the cabinets and drawers beneath and around all sinks.
Clear Bathroom Countertops: Move all toothbrushes, soaps, and personal care items completely out of the bathroom or seal them tightly in plastic bags.
Pick Up Floor Items: Ensure all floors throughout the home are completely clear of clutter, toys, laundry, and pet items.
Vacuum Thoroughly: Vacuum all carpets, rugs, and hard floors, paying special attention to the baseboards, corners, and the edges of rooms. Immediately take the vacuum bag or canister contents to an outdoor trash bin.
Eliminate Open Food and Water: Store all open food items in airtight plastic or glass containers. Do not leave dirty dishes in the sink overnight, and dry out sinks and tubs before the treatment to cut off their water supply.
Manage Trash Responsibly: Empty all indoor trash cans and wash them out to remove liquid residue. Keep all garbage in tightly sealed bins outside.
Cover Pet Bowls: Remove or completely flip over all pet food and water bowls.
Cover Fish Tanks: If you have an aquarium, turn off the air pump and cover the top tightly with a damp towel or plastic wrap during the service.
Vacate the Premises: All residents and household pets must leave the property during the treatment and remain away for a minimum of 4 hours after completion to allow the materials to dry completely. (Your technician will provide exact guidance based on the treatment layout).
⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE FOR SUCCESS: Please DO NOT use any over-the-counter bug sprays, foggers, "bombs," or harsh chemical cleaners immediately before or anytime after our treatment. Doing so will contaminate our professional gel baits, repel the roaches away from our active materials, and severely disrupt the elimination process.

Eliminating an indoor flea infestation requires a coordinated effort. Flea eggs, larvae, and pupae hide deep within carpet fibers, baseboards, rugs, and pet bedding. Our specialized treatment targets these hidden areas, but your preparation is absolutely vital to expose the fleas and ensure our materials work effectively.
Please complete all of the following steps before your technician arrives for your scheduled service.
Coordinate Pet Treatment: All pets in the household (dogs and cats) must be treated for fleas by a veterinarian-approved method (such as a topical drop, oral medication, or flea bath) on or before the day of our service. If pets are not treated simultaneously, they will reintroduce fleas right back into the clean environment.
Wash Pet Bedding: Gather all pet beds, blankets, and crate mats. Wash them in hot water and dry them on the highest heat setting possible. If a pet bed cannot be washed, it should be safely discarded in an outdoor trash bin.
Vacuum All Rugs, Carpets, and Floors: Thoroughly vacuum every carpeted area, area rug, and hard surface floor in the home. Pay close attention to baseboards, corners, under furniture, and areas where your pets sleep or lounge.
The Power of Vacuuming: Vacuuming does more than pick up debris—the heat and vibration physically stimulate flea pupae to hatch out of their protective cocoons, exposing them directly to our treatment.
Empty the Vacuum Immediately: As soon as you finish vacuuming, remove the vacuum bag or empty the canister into a plastic trash bag, seal it tightly, and take it straight to an outdoor garbage bin. This prevents captured fleas from crawling back out inside your home.
Mop Hard Floors: Thoroughly sweep and mop all tile, hardwood, and vinyl floors, especially along the edges of the walls.
Pick Up All Floor Items: Pick up everything off the floors throughout the entire house. This includes toys, shoes, clothes, loose papers, and pet bowls.
Clear Under Furniture: Remove all storage boxes, shoes, and loose items from underneath beds, closets, and couches so your technician has full access to treat these primary flea hiding spots.
Strip the Bedding: Strip all bed sheets, blankets, and pillowcases from beds in infested rooms, wash them in hot water, and dry them on high heat.
Cover Pet Bowls and Toys: Remove or flip over all pet food and water dishes. Store all pet toys in sealed plastic bags or cabinets.
Cover Fish Tanks: If you have an aquarium, turn off the air pump and cover the top tightly with a damp towel or plastic wrap to protect the water from airborne particles.
Vacate the Premises: All residents and pets (including birds, reptiles, and small caged animals) must leave the property during the treatment and remain away for a minimum of 4 hours to allow the materials to dry completely. Your technician will confirm the exact return time.
Keep Vacuuming Daily: Do not mop or steam-clean your carpets for at least two weeks after the treatment, as this will wash away our active materials. However, you should vacuum your carpets daily for the next 10 to 14 days. You may still see a few adult fleas hatch over the next week; daily vacuuming will force them out of their cocoons to encounter the treatment and die.

To Our Valued Customer:
To ensure the most effective treatment possible, the following preparation steps must be completed prior to our technician’s arrival. Failure to prepare properly may result in the rescheduling of your service and an additional trip fee. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us protect your property!
Strip All Beds: Remove all sheets, blankets, mattress covers, pillowcases, and bed skirts. Do not leave them on the bed.
The High-Heat Rule: Place all bedding, curtains, stuffed animals, and clothing from infected areas directly into plastic bags. Move them immediately to the laundry.
Wash & Dry: Wash items on the hottest setting possible and dry them on HIGH HEAT for at least 30 to 45 minutes. The heat of the dryer is what kills the bed bugs and their eggs.
Post-Laundry Storage: Place the clean, dried items into fresh, unused plastic bags and seal them tightly. Do not put them back in the rooms until the treatment is completely finished.
Empty Closets & Drawers: Remove all items from clothes closets, nightstands, and dressers in the rooms being treated. Pack these items into plastic bags or storage bins.
Pull Furniture Away: Move all furniture (beds, dressers, couches) at least 1 to 2 feet away from the walls to allow our technician access to the baseboards.
Uncover the Mattress: Leave mattresses and box springs bare and accessible. Do not discard furniture unless instructed by your ARMD technician.
Declutter: Remove all clutter from floors, under beds, and on top of furniture. Items on the floor provide hiding spaces for bed bugs.
Vacuum Thoroughly: Vacuum all carpets, rugs, baseboards, and furniture (including inside seams of couches and chairs).
Discard the Vacuum Bag: Immediately empty the vacuum canister or discard the vacuum bag into an outdoor dumpster after use.
Vacate the Premises: All occupants, including pets, must leave the property during the treatment and remain away for at least 4 hours after the service is completed to allow the treatment to dry completely.
Fish Tanks: Cover fish tanks tightly with plastic wrap and turn off the air pumps.
Let It Dry: Do not re-enter the home until at least 4 hours have passed. Ensure all treated areas are completely dry to the touch before relaxing on furniture.
Mattress Encasements: ARMD highly recommends purchasing high-quality, zippered bed bug mattress and box spring encasements. Install these after the treatment is dry to seal in any potential remaining bugs and prevent new ones from nesting.
Do Not Use Over-the-Counter Sprays: Please do not apply grocery store bug sprays or foggers (bug bombs) after our treatment. These chemicals can repel the bugs, causing them to scatter deeper into the walls and making our professional products less effective.
